When can I expect my first shipment?

We know you’re excited to get your first box - we are too! If you ordered during our launch period, thank you and welcome to the Project Mother community! Our inaugural box will ship within the second week of June. After that your subsequent/recurring boxes, ship out within the second week of March, June, September, and December. If you placed your order after the launch period and we aren't sold out of our current box, we will ship out within two weeks of when you begin your membership. You will receive an email notification when your box has shipped, and it will include a tracking link! If we are unable to charge the credit card on your account, this is likely because it has expired. (We get it, #mombrainhappens) In this case, we will wait to send your box until we can get in touch with you or until we see that the billing info has been updated.

 


Do you offer gift subscriptions?

Do diaper pails always smell?! Yes. The answer is yes. During the shipping section of checkout, simply input the recipient's address in the shipping section and send an email to support@projectmother.co with your order number and let us know it is a gift. We will take care of the rest! *Please note: if you do not email us to indicate you are sending a gift, your card will continue to be charged after the subscription year.

 


I just signed up; what can I expect?

Welcome to the Project Mother community! In each box, you will receive a handful of mother-made lifestyle products from different brands that are focused on ethical and sustainable production, donate a percent of profits to charity or aim to inspire and empower women. Our goal with each box is to curate a selection of products that are special and beautiful as well as meaningful and purposeful — which encourage you to be your best self in order to better serve our families, our children, our communities and ourselves. We also hope to introduce you to companies and communities that are making a difference in our world. Project Mother is not just a subscription box but a collaborative enterprise full of mothers striving to love and encourage one another by building rooted community and fostering ethical commerce.

 


When will I be billed?

Yuck, money stuff. But hey, we know it’s important so we’ve laid it all out for you. If you order today, you will be billed right away to reserve your membership. Quarterly subscribers will be billed every three months, after their initial purchase, going forward, until the membership is paused or cancelled. Annual subscribers are charged upon purchase, and then again one year later—on the day they began their subscription. Of course, you can cancel any time before the billing cycle renews.

 


What is your cancellation policy?

Quarterly subscribers can cancel their subscription(s) at any time. There is no cancellation fee. Quarterly subscribers are billed at the time of purchase, and then charged every three months, going forward - so the subscription can be paused or cancelled anytime before that date to avoid receiving the current box.. Annual subscribers can pause, modify, or cancel their subscriptions anytime before their 12-month cycle renews. Annual subscription cancellation requests are made effective at end of the annual term. Since annual subscriptions afford a $22 discount for a year of boxes, they are nonrefundable. 

 


How do I update my account information? 

You can access your account log-in from two places on our website, once in the top menu and another in the bottom menu. You will be taken to our membership management partner, Moonclerk, to log-in and access your account. From there you can change your billing/shipping information or subscription status on your account page. If you need assistance logging in, please contact us.

 


How do I get my product in your box?

We love learning about new products and companies that support and empower mothers in order to make our world a better place! Contact us here and tell us a bit more about your company!

 


Do you accept returns?

Project Mother purchases are nonrefundable. Any returns made to us will not be eligible for a refund. 

If you have received a damaged product in your box, or if your box is missing a product, please email our member support team within two (2) weeks of delivery, and we will assist you with getting the item replaced. If your box is missing, we must be notified via email within two (2) weeks of receiving your tracking information. If Project Mother is not notified within that time frame, we can no longer be held accountable for the missing items and will not be able to offer a replacement or refund. All refunds are granted at the sole discretion of Project Mother.
