Please introduce yourself and tell us about your family.

My name is Lynzy and I am married to a very handsome ER doctor named Ryan and we have two beautiful girls, Olivia and Eliora.

What are three daily things you can’t live without?

Superhero Mascara by IT cosmetics, my Fawn Design diaper bag and my comfy solids.

If you could go back and visit yourself the year you became a mom, what would you tell yourself? What kind of encouragement or wisdom do you wish you had at that time?

I would tell myself to relax more, worry less and be present in the moments more. I was consumed with preoccupied notions of how I should be a mother instead of just going with the flow. I was worried about everything and should have trusted my instincts more.

What is something you strive to be intentional about? As a mother, how do you accomplish that in your day-to-day?

I strive to be present in the moment with my children instead of being preoccupied with the busyness of my own life. I try not to let my jobs interfere with my quality time with them. We set aside a few hours a day where we leave our phones upstairs and concentrate 100% of our time into activities with them.

What does your daily routine look like? Is there any one thing that you check off your list that makes your day a success?

Every day is different! I work in the ER and so I work crazy hours and every day is set up differently. Typically, if I am not heading into the hospital, I wake up around 6 am and complete that day's blog post and amplify it across social media. The babes wake up around 8 am and we eat breakfast and do a morning activity. Usually errands and a trip to the beach or park. We have afternoon naps around 1-2 pm until dinner time and then we sit together and have dinner followed by an afternoon walk/beach run.

What has been your best #mothermoment?

When my biggest baby met my youngest baby :)

What was the worst? How did you handle it?

Oh that's really tough. There are so many tough situations along the way, it's honestly hard to define one as the "worst". I have learned so much from them all. I would have to say that trying to figure out how to discipline our 2.5 year old and be successful in handling behaviors has been a pretty tough one!

What is your mother motto?

To go with the flow and always trust your instincts!

If you had a day to yourself how would you spend it and why?

I would love to be on a deserted beach with a really good book and a virgin pina colada.

If you could share one thing with our community of mothers, what would it be?

There are so many days when I think I could have done things better, been more present, and tried a bit harder. The reality is, we are too hard on ourselves. Just doing your best is always enough <3
